Punto Boy Racers

got a stupid punto boy racer up my rear today.I was just driving along minding my own business when I seen this puny yellow poxy punto in my rear view mirror I passed out a tractor as normal then all of a sudden he decides to over take me and the tractor all in one go jusyt as I was acclerating away so all I could hear was this noise of an induction kit and he cut across me and flew on like his car was better than mine ..stupid nonense.I wouldnt mind but he pulled into a filling station only 100 yards up the road.He had all his skinhead friends in the front and back seats ..pathetic :D

I simply agreed with the original (and reply) post that small underpowered hatchbacks driven by 'idiots' who try to go everywhere at warp 10 is not only dangerous, but also down right annoying...

Now, if you drive your Yaris like that, then yes, it was a dig at you and your car...

But it wasnt directed at any person or car, it was just a general statement in agreement with the original post about these drivers.. so as long as you dont drive like that, it isnt a dig at you is it!

I had some Saxo on the way home from work. Lexus lights, steels, large "2 Fast 2 Furious" sticker across whole backscreen. Driving annoyingly changing lanes at roundabout and stuff on the way out of town. So on the one round about where 2 lanes go stright across, I had a little burn out at the lights got ahead within seconds and when they were behind me, deeply offended by the sight of blue neon washer jets all the way home. O no.

Had some idiot chav in a silver clio up my T3's backside on Saturday..overtook when it werent safe, swerving everywhere, not one signal for 2 miles that I could see, ugly bodykit on it, exhaust which was vibrating big style every time he revved it and had one brake light working...

Feel free to add yourself mate ive seen a few of the members drive and fair play to them, you dont uprate your suspension and tyres to go round islands at 30 or spend the same price again on track days as you did on modding!

yeah, but in all honesty, are you boy racers?

I mean, theres a time and place for *ahem* spirited driving.. the problem with boy racers (IMO) is that they do it in town centres and residential estates, which are definatley not the right place.... at any time...

I mean, most enthusiasts enjoy driving.. what seperates them from the muppets of this world is having the common sense to know when its inappropriate.. and i dont think you guys admitting to being boy racers are admitting to that are you? but more to just enjoying your car as and when its appropriate?

Indeed. I watch my speed, let people out all the time, I dont sit at lights reving away.

I just bring the revs up alot (most of the time) accelerate to 30mph as quickly as possible and thats about it. O and overtake anything possible on a dual carriageway! I dont like to do 50mph on it!
