I recently advertised my 140bhp,W reg,celica,MOT June,tax end 07-05, 91000 miles, in the autotrader for £7000. But had a poor response to it, have i over priced ?if so what should i be asking for??? Also are there any other selling agenceys i could try??

in all honesty, the 140 doesnt tend to sell well, and your is very high mileage..

I would try dropping the price, i'd say by £500 to begin with, and if your still struggling, then try another 500..

Eh? There's a hell of a lot more 140s than there are 190/Tsports on the roads, how do you explain that then? :D

thanks for everyones views, i think im gone take a chance with eBay :blink: , just hope i dont get done by some of the idiots on there!!:censor: .

That mileage will put a lot of people off. It's not as bad as most potential buyers would think:

a ) 90k miles on a modern car is only just run in, in a lot of ways,

b ) Judging by the age of your car, most of it must be motorway work anyway.

However, there is a kind of stigma attached to 100k miles that makes people think it must be on it's last legs. You may need to lower the price before most people would even look twice at the ad.
