Losing Power

When I drive my celica and increase the acceleration, it often loses power when I increase acceleration and then regains it a few seconds later. For example, I'm climbing a gradual slope on a dual carriageway cruising at 50 mph, I decide to increase my speed, but if I accelarate too quickly the revs go up as though I have pressed the clutch down and then after a short time it's as though I am letting the clutch out again and it catches up with itself.

Is this a clutch problem or something else?

Anybody!!

From your description it sounds like the clutch is slipping. :(
