Exhaust Flamer

just bought an exhaust flamer kit for my gen 7 show celica

the company say it will fit my car

can anyone give any advise to where the live feed to the coils are as this is a major part of installation

any help appreciated

when i had a butane kit i the coil mounted in th esoare wheel recess and butane bottle where the jack etcs is stored but u will need to take the cat out to get it to work properly

how did you wire the main feed to the unit up though, or did you just rely on normal engine fumes alone

which main feed mate ? power to coil or butane to exhaust or ....

the instruction say the main feed to the flamer unit(box with loads of wires out of it) has to be branched into the main feed to the coil but on vvtis the engine has 4 coils ontop of the spark plugs the manufacturers say it will fit my car as theve done it to a few in japan but dont know how it was done toyota told me not to fit it as if it is not wired right it will damage the ecu

to be honest mate i doubt it will ignite on ur car as its set up for low emmisions etc the spark plugs sparks up unburnt fuel u need to take the cat out for sure and even then it may still not work. alos dont fit it urself if u are going ot take it to a garage and get them to do it then if it goes pete tong they are stuck with fixing it
