Gearbox Oil Leek

my mk3 soop has a gearbox leek, do they have a common fault.

i have already repair the gearboxs oil coolant pipe and now it leeking

from the box, i think it may be a gasket but im not to shor.

when i park the car it smells of QTS and smokes, i get a nice patch

of oil directly under the box but it smokes from rear wheelarch.

HAS ANYONE HAD THIS HAPPEN TOO THERE SOOP

Check the prop shaft seal if its right at the back....

If not, odds are its the torque coverter seal...
