Yeah, mine are pretty knackered too. Only had them 18 months, and they have paint peeling all over. My tyres are pretty marginal now as well. Am tempted by another set myself...

Is this saying that the wheels are 6" wide? Im desperately needing a set of alloys for my celica as it only has caps at the moment :( but i bought something previously from eBay and the guy has sent me nothing. Im still waiting for my money back and i guess it stops me even bidding for these though im VERY tempted.

What's wrong with them?

all have minor surface scratches

one has started to bubble.

two have a few nastyish scratches on them

one is perfectish... as in picture

i want my money back. They must of been driven on... Dont reckon theyd start to bubble if they hadnt

You should get your money back for sure and leave very negative feedback. I would also report the guy to eBay as a matter of principle, especially if he doesn't offer a full and immediate refund.

It's a difficult one as they did say they had been on cars but nevr been used on the road.

Doesn't mean they haven't done a bit of off roading or a couple of track days!!

Seriously though if your not happy complain to the seller he may be able to send you a better set out, which the delivery bloke will swap for the ones you have got.

If he is totally unreasonable then leave negative feedback, and get a refund (you probably will have to return them and lose postage both ways)

It may even be cheaper to get them refurbed than to pay the postage to send them back for a refund.

lookily its a business with proper customer service so im thinkin they can come collect the wheels and i dont lose anything or send me some more or pay to refurb them!!

I suspect they are wheels that a new car was delivered on, but the buyer upgraded to optional alloys at first purchase.

These wheels were probably on a car for delivery into the UK, then maybe in the showroom for a bit. They've probably been kicking around in the corner of a dealership for a while as well.

The bubbling could happen even without the wheels being used on the roads IMO. Toyota seem to have done the cheapest job possible of painting them.

I think they have changed the description on eBay, I don't recall the bit about them not being brand new the other day.
