Dump Valves/bov's - Quick Question

Ok so im sure my Supra has recirc on the wastegate anyhow so i dont really need a dump valve (correct me if im wrong Supra people)

But can anyone tell me this.....do dump valve BOLT on or need WELDING on? :blink::wacko:

I hear mixed answers on this one :lol:

The wastgate is different to the BOV fella ..

the wastegate will be internal and the BOV will be re-circ.

On the MR2, you can unbolt the stock and re-bolt an aftermarket. Most people get aftermarket hard pipes and then get BOVs welded into them.

You want the BOV as close to the Turbo as possible. and before the IC.

Bolt on!!! probably replacing the 90 degree rubber pipe from your inlet manifold!

I'll show you mine next time your over to get the idea (oooh err).

on the sx woody just cut pip inserted a t piece bolted dump valve on and connected it to vacum hose think it all depends on make of bov
