Pollen Filter

Hi all

Anyone know how to get out / inspect the pollen filter on the 97- 03 Avensis please ?. I know its under the glovebox, but after pulling off the cover in the footwell am at a loss where to go next

Anyone know how to get out / inspect the pollen filter on the 97- 03 Avensis please ?. I know its under the glovebox, but after pulling off the cover in the footwell am at a loss where to go next

Hi, from 97-03 the pollen filter is just to the left of the clutch pedal and slides out from behind the heater box to the pedals costs around £45.00.From 03- onwards it is behind the glove box. just dont forget to unscrew the damper first and then push the edges either side of the glovebox to release( empty it first) it is behind a removable plate and then slides out towards you( make sure you put the new one in the right way( not upside down), it is marked UP. these only cost £20.00.
