Rear Speakers - Where And How To Fit Etc

Firstly, why don't Toyota put rear Speakers in the Yaris?

Secondly, if I were to fit some, where exactly could they go and how? The parcel shelf (although I don't quite see how without pics).

Hi i asked similar question a good few back, so if you a searhc you'll find details.

General consensu is i would cut holes in existing parcel and wire upto my headunit under carpet and sides of car

Buying an aftermarket parcel shealf(stealth shelves)ets would probably be your best bet as it leaves you the option of returning your car to standard in the future plus it is very discreet so any potential theives would not notice it!!

Are you planning on getting a new head unit?

Wouldn't mind fitting a cd changer or something that can play mp3 discs, so the new head unit option is likely - just need to find something I like. The car's only 3 moinths old and don't want to mess it up by doing too much with my lack of expertise.
