Yaris - To Buy Or Not To Buy.........?

I am thinking of buying a Yaris 1.0 GS Oct-1999 33000 miles.

According to the dealer, the service history was in his posession but has been lost!

It has been reduced from £3500 to £3000 to take account of this.

Does this sound like a reasonable deal. I've always been of the opinion that without a service history a car is always a risk!

Has anyone got any advice on how to varify a mileage.

Also at what mileage is the cam belt change due?

Welcome

Is the dealer a Toyota dealer? If so if it’s got a full service history with Toyota, it will be on their system.

The good news is that the Yaris doesn’t have a cam belt, it has a chain which is maintenance free

If in any doubt walk away. There are plenty more around.
