Idle Revs When Cold?

just lately when my car is stone cold it'll start fine, but it only idles around 750 rpm. (which is normally what it would be when warm)

BUT!, when it does get warm it idles quicker, around 1000-1100 rpm.

i'm baffled.

any had this before or know what it could be?

Mine starts from cold and tries to tick over at 900-1000rpm! Then the choke slowly kicks in and its idles properly from then on!?

Dont know what causes it tho

Sounds like the idle speed valve playing up. It is quite a common problem. It is a valve which opens when cold to allow air to bypass the throttle body, thus increasing idle speed.
