Hi everyone

Quick question. Has anyone replaced there top mounts on there MR2 before. I have noticed if you go over ruff uneven ground you will here a little thud where the top mounts are knocking. So it looks like ii will have to replace the top mounts. I being give a price for £75 for the front 2. And I've only being charged £45 to fit them is that a good price or what? £120 all in

What do you guys and girls think?

Cheers jerry!!

Jerry,

Don't rule out ball joints. jack your front end up and check for free play in them. When you go over rough ground, worn ball joints will make a rattling noise (like there's something loose).

They're also a damn site cheaper to replace at around £15 each.

Hi mate, top mounts are easty to replace and can be done with the strut and spring still in place

(springs might need to be clamped though)

Also you can get TRD top mounts from fensport for £47.30 each!!

pm me if your going to fit them yourself and i'll give you a guide...

its very easy and should take an hour max to do both fronts.
