Any One Chipped Or Used Tuneing Box On D4d Engine

Hi everyone .Any one chipped or used a tuneing box on their D4D engine,and what you use ??

Was it worth fitting ? Did u see any differance ?

I have a Tunit Unit on my 2004 Avensis D4D and a Dragon chip on my 2004 Landcruiser D4D.

They are both plug and play units, £450 for the Tunit and £250 for the Dragon.

If I had to buy another one I would go to Dragon as the price and after sales service is excellent.

You will have to turn it down from the settings that they send out as the D4D is very sensitive and it will cut out/ reject it.

A couple of test drives and a bit of tweaking and your away, MPG up Gear changes down, motoway cruising spot on, loads of torque at 70 MPH plus.
