New Suspension Kit

hi all,

i have installed a new suspension kit on my Vitz/ Yaris. It is of TRD make. The back absorbers have got this number on them 48531-NP150 KYB.

anyone got an idea of the specs. Actually it was took from another yaris.

Also the ride is very very stiff ... really bumpy. The front ones are adjustable.

Please tell me how to soften the ride. there is a marking of 1-2-3-4 on top of the rear and front absorbers ... any idea what these are for and on what setting they should be. Mine are on 1 (rear and front).

Thanks.

Whilst mildly on the subject.

What suspension can you order from your Toyota dealer? Which spings? Any shocks?

Just curious.

I know you can get TTE springs from Mr T. Can you get any shock upgrades?

just most parts men are dumb and have never heard of them! and theyll struggle to 'locate them on the database' as they arnt a standard issue part for the car

thanks for the tip ... i have adjusted the absorbers to 4 (frony and rear) ... a ;ittle more comfortable to drive ... I think i'll remove the absorbers and keep the sprins only.
