3rd Year Service

Im in work so don't have access to my manual..

But what parts am I looking to buy?

I'm guessing that the 3rd year service will be another intermediate service.

If so, the following occur according to the Manual:

Replace Engine oil and filter

Inspect Air filter

Inspect Drive shaft boots (Camry)

Inspect exhaust pipes and mountings (D4D)

Inspect Air conditioning filter

Inspect Brake pads and discs

Inspect Brake fluid

Inspect Tyres, lights, Wiper Blades, washer fluid.

How many miles you done as well?

There are some additional bits for 30k miles:

Airfilter change

Inspect Charcoal canister

I was under the impression that the 3rd year service they had the air-filter replaced. If you do it yourself however you can check if it's gone far enough or if cleaning it will do.

Check the alternator/water-pump/power steering belts for tension and wear too, aswell as the brake lines. Also check Battery level and condition and the free travel of brake and clutch pedal and steering wheel. Don't forget to check all levels ie coolant/brake fluid/clutch fluid/power steering fluid and top up if needed.

i think toyota like to charge you for screen wash even it yours is full the the brim! i remeber they did that to me and i think some other people on the forum. I think it depends on the milage that you have done too tho

Im getting my t sport 3rd year service today, so ill let you know. They said it would cost £92.70, though i bet it goes over more than that!

The guy gave me a ring a moment ago, and said that the air filter and pollen filter need changed, as they were badly blocked - there goes another £18!

yeah im too converned that they dont do all the checks, im not that car literate so i have to trust them
