Having tuned several of my cars over the years for performance or economy, is there realistically anything that can be done to the latest Toyota engines to eg. improve performance or economy on VVTi engines ?

eg. better air filters, intakes, chip mods

Any websites/companies specialising in tuning Toyotas eg.Avensis ?

PS. When is the Haynes manual for a 2002 model due out ?

<_< Have replaced original air filter with one from HKS. Car did not transform to Celica GT4 but overal performance is fairly good. Immediately after installing filter performance at low revs was BAD. You need to drive car for a few km full throtle for ECU to read all new parameters.

Have also ordered TRD Iridium spark plugs. TRD USA produces a compressor kit for the Corolla 1.8 VVT-i . Have not tried it :D
