Bike Exhaust...

Having a bike at home, I've got a spare race exhaust from my project.

Has anyone fitted one to a car before?

It's a nice Scorpion anodised titanium oval one, in case anyone wants to know what it is.

Cheers

I admit, I did think about getting this done, may do when I get a TSport/new Yaris.. whatever..

It'll be !Removed! loud.. Undecided whether good loud or bad loud.. :!Removed!:

Shouldn't be too loud.

Not at all loud below 5000rpm on the bike - it's only when you whack the throttle back it rears it's ugly loud head!

Might need re-packing though before I do it, and a good clean.

Anyone know the dimensions of the pipework before it meets the backbox?

Will have to get pipework made up, unless I hack off the box itself, and use a clamp or similar to attach it.

Id get pipework made up.. Then clamp, then if happy, get it welded or whatever..

Wondered what 'note' it would produce..

There's only one way to find out!

Will have to wait a month or so though, whilst I finish the bike off.

I'm getting withdrawal symptons!

Nah, it's only slippy when diesel gets spilled.

I'll prolly only use the bike in fairer weather now, but I got a few meets next month and want to have her finished for then.

Except for this winter, I've ridden through the previous 4 winters on two wheels.

Now THAT was fun! :D

Nothing like overtaking a car at 60mph, with the rear wheel spinning up, and the hanldebars squirming! :D

i being into bikes did this to my 1.0l had a yoshimura race can on it wasnt loud at all so in the end i got a staright pipe which moffmo now has which still isnt loud enough for me, if you weret to put a race can on a car ud have to get rid of all the mid boxes includin the cat, the can u have would it fit a bandit 6? 1998

Don't won't an hugely loud exhaust - just a slight burble will do.

The can is off my '99 Bandit 6 (See siggy).

I got a full Yoshi system from the States for my project, so that's going on instead.
