Spurious Cd Changer?

Hi all,

I recently became the proud owner of a '01 model Toyota Avensis (terra) Liftback. I love the car and am really happy with its performance. However it didn't come with a CD changer and I really want to be able to play my CD's in the car. So far I've been using one of those casette adaptors and a discman, but the sound quality is very poor and its a lot of hassle changing CD's while driving, also can be dangerous.

I really hope someone could point me in the right direction for alternate options. Toyota will sell me a multi-disc unit, at a cost of over 500 Euro.

I'm looking for a cheaper option, so anyones help in this matter would be greatly appreciated,
