De-cat My T-sport

Does anyone know a way around keeping the sensor warning light off on the yaris?

I have a de cat on my clio and the light is on. I know the second lambda sensor is not needed on the clio as it is only there to check the cat is functioning properly, (but i havent got round to unplugging it) and because the cat is not there any more, it thinks the cat is faulty because emissions are higher than norm.

Right so let me get this straight...Removing the cat can cause the light to go on, but if it's done properly, then the light won't. My mates on about getting his RS done and told him about the problems that can occur after (well, OK, the light coming on) and he seems sure it will be OK, but I really couldn't trust some of the muppets over here!

The only way the lite will come on is if the oxygen sensors arent screwed into the exhaust. If u have a look under ur car ul see wot i mean. On the cat, there are 2 sensor probes screwed into the exhaust. 1 at the front of the cat & 1 at the back of the cat.

If this is done properly, u wot have a problem with lites coming on

Right my mate got his de-cat done yesterday, custom job, and to be honest with you it doesn't sound all that much louder, unless he's really flooring it (I expect it's meant to be like that?). Asked him how much it cost him and he said a tenner! (About 12.50 UK Pounds). Seems a bit cheap to me...

Do it, Do it, Do it....

sod the enviroment make noise have fun :ph34r::ph34r:

My De-Cat system is Yashio Factory conected to a fuji back box, and it is VERY VERY loud, the car has a reputation for it round here now ;)

I told my insurance company about it..no problems with them.

DRB5 plummed the second sensor back in as the Yashio system only has room for one, had the car back 10 days and the light isnt on......yet....im not getting my hopes up but it dont really bother me if it does TBH.

Notice only one place for sensor on left hand pipe of down pipe, and also i still have a center silencer....god knows what it would be like if i took that off

Oh and as for police if the cars not got the throtle open, or is at low revs its actually quite quiet its only when you boot it that it roars, but like mentioned above its actually more like scream on a bike than a growl from a v8

DE-CATS RULE
