Hi All,

Just got my new Avensis 2.0 D4D, I have done about 600 miles and I am finding a high amount of vibration coming through the floor and steering wheel at about 3000 rpm.

I done a trip of about 1.5 hrs and got out feeling sick because of the vibration.

I have always had a petrol car and I am thinking am I exspecting a diesel engine to be smooth.

I would be intrested to hear if any other D4D owners get any vibration

It's a estate version BTW.

Regards,

Steve.

Hi,

I have the same car,

Mine is a bit heavy, but drives ok. I usually do 120 MPH (I live in Germany so its legal) and no probs. Sound like an engine mount problem. Take it back ASAP !

All the best

Gaz

same car for me.

something is not right m8, I've had mine since Sept 04, 9200miles and the only issue I have is with the amount of road noise, but I wont bring that one up again.

oh and I had the drivers door seal changed under warranty, the dealer said that the drivers door rattle was due to a flattened door seal, it worked anyway.

I'm happy, some others have driven the car and commented on how smooth it is. except for the road noise .... oh d'oh
