87 Celica Convertable

Hello, I was hopeing someone out there could help me. I would like to know more about my celica convertable. I've been told it was one of 200 imported in to theUK but i have also been told only 50 were imported. Anyone know the real number? Also are there many still on the road. Mine is currently M.O.T.'d but wondered how many are still going?? Yet another question, I would like to improve the looks of my car with different bumper/skirts are there any out there?

I have no idea how many convertables there are out there, but I think they are few and far between.

BUT I do know that there are a couple of guys n girls that own celi convertables in the Celica Club. :)

They may be able to help.

But failing that, when the boys are awake they will no doubt offer their assistance

hi, again cant help with uk figures, but i have 1 of only 20 imported to denmark, they were made in japan as a hard top then modified in germany to convertible, as far as i know there are only 2 left in denmark, mines the white one, his is black!!

As for prices, i can get double that of a hardtop...ho ho ho!! Bad points, the police stop me regularly and the first question is always 'what type of car is this?' , they are seldom amused when i say its a fast one that pulls the birds!

The only mods i have are 18 inch evo alloys which are damn fine, if you can tell me where to get new rubber seals for the door posts, roof and targa roof i'd appreciate it, all of the convertibles leak.

not good is it mate ive got one as well and im asking the same thing

i was told 150 came to the uk and there are 5 left

as far as i know there isnt much you can do to it apart from wheels springs lowering kit e4ct ect

mind you i did put leather in mine
