on my rev counter there is a warning lamp that looks like a small oil can over a wavy line? does anyone know what the warning lamp is for? oil level?pressure or water???

lol I didnt heed the warning light and now I am on my second engine . :bye:

The low oil level is kind of like an early warning. It should be safe to drive it like that, but if the oil pressure warning light (red?) on the lhs of the dash comes on then you should turn the engine off immediately.

It's good practise to keep the engine oil topped up to the maximum level on the dipstick. The less oil in your engine, the hotter (and thinner) the oil will get.
