When does it come on?

The needle goes past the "E" at around 275 miles and when I fill the tank back up it takes 44Ltrs(10 gl), these tanks hold 58 Ltrs(12.8 gl) right?

I get around 27 mpg so I should have around 70 miles left, but I just can't bring myself to run it any further as I would feel pretty stupid if I ran out.

I had petrol in the boot but it stank the car out and made me feel sick .

What I would like to find out is how far should a full tank take me and when does your reserve light come on?

cant really help you on that one mate,only had our rav for two weeks ,just got 310 miles out of one tank before the light came on! then filled it up with 46.50 litres of petrol which worked out at 30.7 mpg which i thought was pretty good...

i dont know about the Rav4 but on my Hilux that goes past the E before the light come on

I will run it till the light comes on this week as most of my driving will be intown.
