Hi,

I have a Avensis 2001 2.0 CDX which is due now for a 50K service. The car is now out of warrenty and I would be looking todo this myself. I would be grateful if anyone can give me an idea of what is required to be done, ie oil change, spark, etc and anything extra for a 50K service.

Thanks,

H.

B1nda,

Many thanks for the info - I am very grateful..!

Out of curiosity, what’s the “Auto Data” CD? Does it have all service info for the Avensis 2001 as well as the Corolla 2002? If so – where can I get hold of one !?!

Cheers,

H.

Hi,

The AutoData CD 2(latest version) is for Mechanics, its got all cars on there from 1970 till present. and includes such things as, Service info, tyres, engine problems, how to program keys, air con info, repair times, Engine management data, service illistrations, service light.wiring diagrams, what spark plugs to use, how much oild to use, what type of oil, tightening torques, what the emmisions should be...basically tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about a car from tyre pressure to how to program a key..its worth having it even if ur not a mechanic.

if you want a copy just PM me(due to copyright reasons)

pm = personal message - click on the pm button under the name of the person you want to contact ( < < < over there on the left) - you can then deal with them directly rather than by posting on here where everyone can see / read.
