Break Fluid/coolant Change - T-spirit 2002

Hi,

I need todo an Break Fluid / Coolant change on my Corolla T-Spirit 1.6 2002. The car is out of warrenty and the dealer is asking too much todo this work. Is this a fairly straight forward process - I would be grateful if anyone could give me a brief outline of what I need todo.

By a decent brake fluid like DOT 4 and above and pay an indepentant garage to do it. I shouldn't cost too much. I would say you need about 2 to 3 litres to do the job.

Same with the coolant really.

To changes the Brakefluid you need only 1 liter thats enough

the Coolant you need about 5 liters

Toyota recommend changing the Break Fluid after the 2nd service - however, is this actually necessary or will a top up do?

Definitely a vital change and as important as an oil change.
