My New Car !

I bought this two weeks ago... What do you all think ?

Its a Twin Cam 16 Turbo Rev2 GT with an LSD, T-bar, traction control, air-con, cruise control, abs, and all of the usual other GT refinements. The engine is running stock boost and the only mods are an HKS induction kit and a Pheonix Power Departure Exhaust. And .. its only done 34000 bimta certified KM's .. wohooo

Does anyone think I should change the induction kit to a cleaner one ?

No, I have heard the HKS one lets a lot more dirt through than some of the others.. I want to look after this little honey.....

Hey, just reading your website... Where did you get the TRD dials with Traction control light on them ? I had all of my dash out over the weekend putting in some MPH dials only to realise afterward the TRC light was covered up....

I love you wheels mate.. they are really nice.. So much nicer than multispokes, give yuor car a real street racer look..

I thought that too, but it passed two weeks ago. Plus I will ask my girlfriends dad.. He is an MOT tester and specialist VW mechanic :D

The dials are still in KM's as the speed convertor fitted couldnt handle the TRC and the ECU went mental.. So I am after either a convertor to do the job or just some nice dials that read in MPH and have a TRC light..

the TRD dials were already in the car mate, i think mtte sell them though, ive seen them sumwhere...maybe fensport??.hmm..lol..sorry i cant b more help.

Very nice car mate! congratulations on getting a nice 2!

it does look like a Rev1 though, not a Rev2, (the front lip is bigger on a Rev2) the lip could of been changed tho, since it has the Rev2 alloys.

its an extra stalk on the right under the lights. Press the end in to turn it on .. down to set cruise and then up-down to change, pull toward to cancel. end button to turn it off. its crap as its limited to 110 kmh.. but it saved my bacon after I took the dials out only to find the speedo doesnt rest at zero when the cars not moving !!! .. I had to take the glass front off and set it on the motorway and put the needle back on you live and learn huh !

If you want to take your dials off .. turn the ignition on first and move the needle over the peg and mark where it rests .. this way .. you can put it back on at the same position with the ignition on, then skip it over the peg. I dont know if there is a better way of doing it...
