Egr Valve

My check engine light is back on- it was in the shop 2 weeks ago and the EGR valve needed to be cleaned. The check engine light is back on after only using the car two times since leaving the shop. Does it need to replaced or is there possibly another explanantion and what would replacing it cost me?

have you checked what the fault code is? might not be the EGR valve this time. do a search to get the links on how to do it

Stupid EGR Who wants 700 degree gas going back into your engine, asking for trouble if you ask me.

Going back to your question, take it back to the shop that played with it in the first place and get them to sort it. Chances are they screwed it up
