I prefer the Curen TBH .. the Gen6 convertable has a Curren rear end.

Is it just the lights that are different at the rear?

Comparing the rear of what with the rear of what?

Does a curren have the same rear as the celica except for the lights?

Does the convertable celica have the same rear as the non convertable celica but has curren lights?

I'm confusing myself now!!!

Actually the more I look at it the more it grows on me. I supppose it is a more macho option than the celica, you do see quite a few girls driving STs (sorry Sotal!!!!!! :D )

Whack the 3sgte engine in one and suprise the hell out of scooby driivers!!!

Curren is half way betweem a Celica and a Corolla.

Celica with Corolla Levin style nose and the same rear as the convertible celica.

Only available with either the 3sfe or 3sge and the usual auto or manual. No turbo and no 4wd.

4ws was optional.

When you are driving along how do you tell the difference between a GT and an ST??

My other vehicles are very macho

Difference between the GT4, GT and ST ..

Well the GT will try and keep up, the ST doesn't even bother :)

The GT4 will be behind till about 30 .. then it'll overtake me and carry on pulling.

How quick was the ashtray?

The S2000 is sposed to be 5.5 0-60 and about a 14 sec quater as standard. But it is only a 2.0 NA.

OK a toyota curren is THIS:

b.jpg

this particular one has a C-one front bumper

my preferance is the hiro lip

7ef7a288.jpg

although i think both the options

the curren is a CELICA COUPE with a different front end and came with various motors and so forth the curren ST207 came with ALL WHEEL STEER which is pretty darn nice..

celica coupes and convertables have the exact same taillights

although in my "curren conversion" i have a HATCH so i'm assuming i'll pretty much be the world's only "curren hatch" so to speak..

The 0-60 time must be similar but its hard to get the power down as it likes to torque steer towards trees!!Here goes its a C20LET from a Calibra Turbo. Running EDS Phase 3 and an Apexi AVC-R boost controller. Standard Turbo, platinum plugs, uprated Actuator, custom 7.7 litre intercooler. Getrag 6-speed Gearbox with a Limited Slip Differential. 1/4 mile is 13.82 with a full interior. Top Speed is an indicated 157 mph. but these figures are from the previous owner when the car was running about 240bhp where as now its more like 270 when its on the road. It only comes out at the wekend if its sunny. Thats why Im fine cruising in the GT.

By the way I love S2000's, very good performance cars and as for the engine its gotta be one of my personal favourites. Top Buy!

they are called "boomer" sides but i don't think they are as clean as i would want them..but i really don't wanna get a set of 404 sideskirts (oem style) because of the commonality :( anyone have opinions or suggestions (and the invader skirts are a no no)
