I'm buying a mk1 mr2 next week, just want to know if £1600 is to much for it. Its a F reg sunroof model. 99k on the clock with full 6 month service history. Body work is great condition for age and is rust free. Its completely orginal and untouched. Comes with 6 months tax and 12 months mot.

I will be replacing the cambelt and waterpump at a further cost of £200-£250.

Cheers

I reckon it is a bit much, if you do choose to buy it then get it checked thoroughly by a mechanic. It might look good on the outside but 1600 notes is a bit much if its gonna keep going wrong on you

I was thinkin £1500 is a better price, gonna give it a proper go over before i buy plus i'll be there when it gets mot'd so can have a look underneath.
