Hi All

I have a 2000 corolla 1.9d van with 50,000 miles. I have a severe flatspot

at 1400 to 1500 rpm. I have tried diesel injector cleaner and have changed all

filters has anybody come across this problem

I may be wrong :!Removed!: but if it's the 1.9 Diesel then I think the engine is actually a Peugeot diesel engine (I know that Toyota did use some Peugeot units).

Don't know if this helps when asking a Diesel specialist about possible problems

Silly question but have you put any fuel additives into the fuel to clean the injectors etc? Diesel is a very dirty fuel and this is essential.
