Travelling Abroad

Hi there,

Travelling on the continent in a few weeks and I wondered if anyone could give me an idea of the best way to convert the beams on my new Celica to face the correct way for driving in Europe. On other Projector type headlamps, it is possible to do this within the unit - is it possible on the Celica, anyone got any templates if not - or can I get some deflectors from Halfords? Any advice appreciated.....

go to your dealer they have kits for little money :D

The sticker idea only cuts out the 'kick' on the beam patten it doesnt change the direction so you will have slightly less light to play with :hokus-pokus:. Oh and enjoy your trip.

Thanks Dan, I will see what the main dealer has to offer. If all else fails I will just add a bit of black tape in the right area! :arrgg-matey:

Just out of interest, the part down for an 52 reg Celica is 00064-01004. This was a standard Lucas Headlamp converter pack. It was absolutely useless and eventually they gave me a sheet of paper with the template size and a couple of photos to show wher to place the stickers.
