About to pick the car up now. if you remember it wouldnt start, wasnt even turning over when trying to start it.

Anyway apparently one of the plugs in the loom was saturated. According to the garage they dried it all out and now its starting perfectly.

Not being an engine kinda bloke myself, does this make much sense to anyone else?

I asked what caused this and was told that its just one of those things.

Any engine lovers want to explain this to an engine muppet?

Sounds like you got some sort of water ingress to one of the parts of the wiring loom that controls the cars ignition.

Now it's dry, it starts. I'd try and track down which "plug" it was, so you can stop it happening again.

Glad it's sorted mucker.

Cheers EarL! I was glad to have it back. Didnt realise how much I missed driving it until I got back in there.

Frosty I asked them the exact same thing and he said no the plugs on the engine loom. Anyway when I picked the car up I asked where these plugs are located for future reference and was told "all over the place".

Bit vague but in fairness the car is running perfectly so
