I'm Trying To Find My Region!

I'm from just north of Banbury (North Oxfordshire), and I'm trying to find the nearest meets.

They seem to be Reading or Milton Keynes though.

Bit of a trek for a weekday, but I could make the weekend meets (if there are any).

Does anything happen in Oxfordshire?

There is the monthly Reading meet .. and that's about it *really*.

A few of us locals meet up now and again (not me at the moment, livin' like a hermit before Germany).

Think you are more "Central" .. as I'm thinking South Central is M4 to Soton ..

and i thought it was beacause one of your rubber feet of ur zimmer fell off and in this cold weather u could have a nasty fall and damage ur hip

Dude like we said, in your post in the Central Region, you are more than welcome to join our meets (or whichever meet you would like to go to). It up to you. Who knows, we might even have a meet in your town soon if you pester us enough :P :D

The idea of creating the regions is to make as fair as possible (with regards to traveling distances) to all members to get to know others in their area.

What I personally don't want for the central region is to have every meet in the same place following the same format - it gets stagnant and boring.

Out next meet starts at Santa Pod those wanting to take their cars down the strip are welcome to. I'll just be watching (my car will probably not be track/strip ready by then). After Pod we will be going to a pub for some food/refreshments. Possible mini convoys from Bedford/luton way and M1 services.

Other ideas include Theme parks, paintballing, tenpin bowling, motoring events, gigs etc...

After the next round of regional meets, If you want to PM me details of a venue or something you would like to do for a meet, we'll look into it and possibly arrange something convenient for you
