everyone else **** dropped out - you ***** scumbags- so we cant go cause the campsite was only gonna open for X number of us?

so its gonna be re organised for later in the year. it also doesn't help that most of the country is under lots of snow :(

Yeah well to be brutally honest and rather blunt....

if it is reorganised for summer if people are just gonna drop out again why bother? if not then fine... perhaps taking payment for the site before hand is more incentive to go.

I know a few people who were upset that this weekend didnt happen despite weather ect.

On a lighter note, I sincerely hope not to be there (in the nicest poss way) cause I will hopefully be Yaris-less

To be fair reece so many people messed Chris about with dropping out etc it wasn't worth the campsite opening. I think Earpl did a good job until people started taking the Mickey.

Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing, dont blame Earpl, even the national weather forcasters could not make up their minds.

Not everyone had only a few miles round the coast to travel.....some were going to travel from the other side of the country.

Give the guy a break.. he tried his best to organise it but was beaten by the weather.

IMO he was right to call it off....the warnings had been there all week :(

anyone who tries to organise another meet should follow it through and maybe think ahead about when it will be due to the possible adverse weather........ if any

Those of you who criticise should realise that if it was not for the likes of Earpl, there would never be any meets organised.

He really tried his best on this one and should be allowed to get on with the organisation for a meet later on this year.

I did not see the critics rushing forward with offers of help.

This after all is a Club.....so start conducting yourselves as club members and learn to "get on"

the first time we didnt actually cancel it. it was a possabilty because of the weather and then people were sayin that they were still up for it so we decided to go ahead with it.

then the weather did turn really s**t and people were droppin out one by one and then there were too few to actually go because the campsite wanted so many to go.

so maybe if u want reece maybe you should take responsibility for organisin the next one. oh and just so you know it wasnt just earpl's decision to cancel the meet. it was a group discussion on MSN between 4 of the people who were goin. people who have been talkin about it from the beginnin when it was first mentioned. so dont just point the finger at one person

Thats uncalled for i think

We have met up enough times before, and there were just too many opposing factors this time to make it viable!

A lot of time and effort went into this, Earpl had to persuade a campsite to open out of season, and some of us had to book time off work, and yes, we are gutted that it didnt go ahead, but at the same time, i won't hear a bad word said against Earpl because he happened to be the one that called it off - It could just as easily have been chriscanavan or JJ or anyone!

EDIT: I mean that he was the one to mention it was off on the threads, like chriscanavan said, we decided between the few who were left and came to a joint decision on the matter.

its a good job i read the forum, me and the other half were going to make the trip from liverpool to wales..... i would be well miffed if i turned up and the camp site was closed and no one was there

well we did kinda presume people who were goin would read the forums before we went. plus we notified the people who said they were still goin by text and e-mail. if you had put you name down and said you were comin we would have done the same for you as well
