I have discovered that water in the wheel well of Celicas only seems to occur when a spoiler is fitted. The foam seals are not up to the job apparently and are replaced with thicker ones.

Yeah this is a known problem, and has happened to me. I thought it had something to do with the seals on the rear lights?

Im my case Craig the tell tale sign was water around the locking mechanism after the car was washed.
