Black Bar

Hi guys, Can someone please just let me know the answer to my question.

I currently have a T3 Curtesy car as my Avensis is in with Mr T. Hence no handbook to check in.

I am impressed by the car. But can anyone tell me what the black bar is in the middle of the dash? Its central and below the stereo.

Its probably something stupid that I have missed but I cant seem to work it out... :wacko:

I have tried the CD player A/c etc nothing happens.

Any ideas.

also in my Avensis my trip computer is great, shows things like average speed etc and Range of fuel. Does the Corolla have the range disoplay or just the Speed and ave mpg?

The black bar your refering to is just a blanking plate on the T3. In its place on the T-Spirit and TSport it houses the climate control display....so it doesn't do anything i'm afraid! The display only shows current and average mpg and doesn't give range. A bit poor really!
