Lowering The Sr

1) I believe i am correct in sayin the SR is already lowered 30mm as standard when it left the toyota factory?

2) If i bought and had fitted some 40mm lowering springs, would this only lower it an extra ten, or would it be 70mm in total?

3) I want the car to be very low, but not scraping and scrubbing on wheels, whats my best option?

Thanks for any help

Nick

It's on 30mm springs, so putting 40mm springs on will make it 10mm lower. To make it as low as possible, you could try some very hard, low shocks with springs, but arch work maybe needed to stop scrubbing.

If you really want it as low as possible, but with less hassle, the best option is to make it 'look' low... add some side, front and rear skirts.. that will bring it down. But please don't stick some horrid bodykit on it!

If you do, seveer will kill you... personally. I've seen it happen before.

On a defensive note, bodykits are good, if done in sutlety (messed that word up a treat)

C One, Booster, TRD are your best bets.

Nah, i don't like the personal touch... people could finger me in a line up... i prefer the 'Hired Goon's' approach. So yes, if you whack a horrid bodykit on... beware of large men dressed in black...
