Im going to replace my broken shifter forks with new OEM items . I heard that the 1991 spec where aluminium and the latest forks where steel. If I order the latest 1998 spec shifter forks will they fit my tranny ?? If not 1998 any other forks later than 1991 will fit my tranny

I need to be sure about this.

Thanks in advance.

BTW My car is a 1991 JDM Spec MR-2 TURBO - 3SgTE Model.

And for all you MR-2 Fans my car is famous in UK! It was a MaxPower Live in 2003. It was also featured on REDLINE Magazine in 2003.

Orange colour / Erbuni Kit / 18" alloys / RED Interior and a Perspex Engine cover or hood!

I will post some pics sometime!

Shifter forks slide the gears into mesh on the gearshafts in your gearbox when you change gear.
