KITT was blistering on the bonnet but I have seen English Gen 5s with blistering on the Roof

But I have found out today that she had been re-sprayed before.

well imports tend to have no rustproofing as the !Removed! use kind chemicals to clean and de ice roads and is specially forulated to not attack metal work!

as opposed to the crappy salt that the UK use

Like any paintwork though, a lot of the condition is due to how well the car has been looked after in the first place. The paintwork on my Sera was fantastic when I got it shipped over.

my import 1991, is in perfect condition, the only faded bit is the rear spolier, other than that, not a blemish, not signs of ever being re sprayed.
