Clutch Replacement

Well been driving wound today and I reckon my clutch is on it's last legs :( I gave it a bit of stick away from the lights and the clutch didn't really bite well at all, just slipped a lot. This was followed by that nasty smell of a burning clutch. The cars done 88K sO I guess it's no surprise that it's starting to fade. No more traffic light grand prix starts for a little while.

I guess it's not something you can sttempt your self without an engine hoist etc so it's going to have to be done by someone with a few more tools than me. So I know you get get a new clutch for about £100 but how much is it likely to cost to get fitted?

Also, it hasn't started to slip during *normal* driving so how log is it likely to last before it's gone completely?

Thanks

Andrew
