Japfest...

Well after saying a good day was had by all, we may have been extending the truth a little....

On the first track session we went out on (09.26) Scot managed to put a hole in his block on the last lap, I was at Scot's last night giving a hand and the following is a little further info as to what we found....

Most at Japfest saw the original hole (the nut in the pic is 12mm for size comparison);

Which left us doing a little bit of this....

Everything seemed to be going right, we new what we had to do (well, Scot did), we knew how to do it (well, Scot did) and then the heaven's opened...

Things gradually got worse and rather than using plain tools a bit of force was needed so out came the hammer....

Mind you no damage was done and the sump was removed.....

I will have to split this postup due to the number of photo's I'll have to split this into a number of post's....

The next one is the photo's of what we found in the sump....
