I take it that £700 is on an exchange basis???

You won't be able to run over about 15 psi realisticly on stock fueling...

I'd sugest 6 x 550CC inectors, Lexus V8 AFM, possible a walborough fuel pump, uprated intercooler, stopper type headgasket with ARP head bolts, Eletronic boost controller, some form of air fuel ration meter.....and a decent exhaust!

Did they quote you fora stage 1 too?

I'm after hybrid too :D

what charlie is saying that you cant just fit an uprated turbo to the car and expect to get higher numbers.. its a lot more complicated than that...

to be honest the bigger turbo should be last on your list. There are a lot more mods to do before that...

1) if its a stock intercooler you cant run it at 1.5bar.

2) If its a stock headgasket you cant run it at 1.5bar.

3) if its a stock fuel system you can't run it at 1.5 bar.

4) if it's a stock ignition system you cant run it at 1.5 bar..

5) if its a stock bottom end you cant run it at 1.5 bar....

6) if its a stock ECU you can't run it at 1.5 bar...

i could go on..... whoever told you 1.5 bar is a numpty :D were talking an extra 15psi over stock .... you need to throw a LOT of money at it to run at that level, and do more mods than just a turbo and an FCD.

re-read karmas post.. it explains the basic requirements of upping the power to around 1bar on a 7MGTE.
