Kicker Front And Door Speakers

Bit of a random question but does anyone have any Kicker fronts and door Speakers in there Yaris which is wired through to the existing connectors? The max wattage is fairly low on the 10 and 13cm Speakers i'm looking at and the rms output is fairly high, but what i dont know is if they should be wired through an amp? Any help would be grand!!
