what actaully is the full deal of the SAFC apexi unit??

is it like a piggy back computer or doesnt work in that way?? i assume it modifys air flow data and is that it?

or to be honest, is that all a piggy back does!!

working on getting my fuelling sorted and weighing the options!

I thought all piggyback ECU's just altered the fuel/air ratio, and the only difference between them all was the granularity and flexibility...

of course, i have been known to be wrong...

so i doubt the SAFC will cure my problems fully then...

am thinking Unichip or e manage as i cant stretch for a full on ECU and dont think ill really need one as im not going silly on the engine

favouring e manage as it can be tied to the profec eo1 boost control too! :)

i installed and helped tune an safc II in my best mate's trueno BZR. It did do a bit of difference but i tend to think that its very limited in functionality.

Im about to try the PowerFC + commander for my glanza with the new 2.0 engine going on in the next month. Ill give feedback ;)

E-manage is the right way to go I believe for any application in which the safc is considered an option. Its not SO SO SO super duper functional , but it does enough to keep a smile. Try it out.
