I am currently new to these forums as i recently bought myself a 1992 Toyota Mr2. I am from Australia and am looking into purchasing a supercharger for my car. I am not very good with cars and was wondering firstly what kind of engine do i have???

And secondly will a 4agze Supercharger fit into my car???

There were a couple of different N/A engines fitted. It would be better if you could post a pic of it, so it can be identified.

On the subject of superchargers, essentially, all they are is a compressor, so with the right tools, and a bit of inginuity, you can make anything fit anything. The supercharger will fit, but it would mean fabricating mounting brackets, a manifold, and getting the pulley size right to provide the correct amount of boost.

For what it's worth, you could probably get hold of a second hand 3SGTE complete with turbo for what it would cost to fit that suoercharger.

I'd leave the supercharger for later.

Get some simple mods done first (exhaust, induction etc), then go bigger.
