Corolla Gti Install.

I've got my headunit installed, and my sub and amp in the boot. Just wondering what people have done about the front soundstage?

The stock locations in the dashboard are 100mm, not the best for full range sound, but I don't want to start cutting my door cards up etc, so will have to do.

I'm thinking of installing some 10cm Infinity components, and putting the tweeters on the A-pillars, as the stock dash locations for Speakers point downwards!! this way I should get the most out of the front set up.

Anyone done a decent install in their GTI?

Infinity do a set with "remote" tweeters that don't sound too bad. I can't remember the midrange component sizes though... Anything should sound better than what's currently in the dash

The only 4" infinitys I can find are here: http://www.hiwayhifi.com/site/product.asp?...1195&ref=kelkoo

Can't find any info about them on infinitys website, or anywhere else.

The only other 4" components I can find are made by maystar, and aren't too bad apparently.

Then just a case of buying a second amp to power them!
