First time I've seen that site.

Fair to say, for some of those cars they're pretty spot on. But for some of the others that I was looking at in their "database" that they keep harping on about are fairly decent looking.

I personally prefer cars that are kept standard looking, maybe a few styling tweeks here and there, but most of them are obviously just jealous ****ers that really just wish they could spend as much money on their s.h.i.tboxes :ffs:

If someone slagged my car off i'd take it personally.
You lot on barryboys have a laugh and stuff, but remember its people's pride you are slagging off. If you have an opinion then your entitled to it, but remember that if you slag off a car, then someone is out to have retribution.

Why would you take it personally? Everyone has different tastes so why shouldn't they be allowed to express thier opinions? I think the car looked crap so why shouldn't i say so?

find it funny how when chavs want to appear non-chavvy when they " do up " their cars, they go on saying how theyre money's gone into " engine stuff innit " and they havnt done anything to the exterior, though they know fluff all (i borrowed that word from a friend) about anything remotely mechanical....it insults a car fanatic through and through like myself

Why am i a chav? The cars in storage and i do work on it when i have time and money, i drive another car as a run around but you would have known that had you looked a bit harder. As for knowing "fluff all" about mechanics i have an HND in mechanical engineering, i aslo do all the work on all my cars myself including the full engine rebuild in my R5.

i would personally say that the starlet is so much more of a better car then the renualt 5. i mean if you put a basic renualt 5 next to a basic starlet i know which i would choose.....the starlet. The turbo R5 is a quick car but every 12 miles it will brakedown and fully signed up membership of the AA will be required. but the starlet glanza is a different matter. i have not heard one bad comment about it and i have never heard anybody who has broken down.

The difference being compare a starlet to a Renault 5 of the same age as mine (1988). The R5 is the faster car as standard and will also outhandle the starlet on the bends. The Renault is also well catered for in this country as far as performance tuning parts go with second hand spares easily avalible at low cost.

meh man, this dude doesnt even dignify an arguement, the r5 is the chav's weapon of choice beside the nova, corsa and saxo. at least the starlet's not crippled by such a dire reputation.

Sorry to tell you but i know a guy who is 100% chav and he owned a starlet. Chavs also own skylines, cosworths etc. Does this make them chav cars aswell? Did you ever wonder that chavs might not like the starlet because a large percentage of the owners are OAPs? :lol:
