Rav 4 Xt3 Rear Power Socket

 The blank socket plug on the rear left plastic facia is hiding the loom for the aux socket, this appears to be standard fitting on the 5 door but not the 3 door.If you remove the oblong facia panel below it and put your hand carefully up inside behind the plug blank( there is a lot of sharp plastic inside this panel just waiting for careless fingers ) pop out the blank plug.Just above this, the harness is taped up, carefully undo the tape and release the harness .My XT3 is blue with a black /dark grey interior so the surround for the socket matches the interior colour scheme,I can only suggest you check the options for your colour interior ( I might be wrong ,I think there are 3 colours of surrounds available ) anyway the part number for the socket is T85530-42010 Socket power ,approx £15.01 +vat ,the surround is T85535-34030-B4 panel, cig light, approx £4.49 +vat

 This is a good mod for the coming Summer (keep your drinks chilled) and well worth doing

The part numers for the ealier NRG type Rav 4 series are different ;) NRG with grey interior ,socket T85530-33020 socket power@£8.49 +vat and the surround (check suitability to match your interior)T85535-34030-BO panel, cig light @£4.44 +vat

Good luck ,SD
