ive got my 6 disc toyota cd changer for sale its from a 99 corolla and it works fine BUT i do not have the lead only because i cant be bothered with the hassle of removing the lead from behind the dash and under the carpet, if you are competent with a pair of pliers i can provide the male and female 12pin connectors with the corresponding wires attached and you can make up your own lead from these, or maybe someone on here has one they can give you? i also have the factory head unit from my corolla ( 6 clear/white buttons light up green 3 above sel/vol and 3 above scan/tune) which conrols the changer although i imagine that most toyota head units of this age can control the changer (dont take that as fact its just an assumption) the price is £40 plus p+p this includes the head unit (if you need it)

O.k people ive made up the lead and it works! its 4m long and looks like THIS the connection on both ends looks like THIS my apologies for the crappy quality of these pics but the only decent digi camera i have is screwed. the head unit that the changer was connected to looks like THIS and the changer and cartridge look like THIS

i have taken my stereo out of the corolla and wired in the old one, connected the changer and tested all the functions and everything works fine with no loss of sound quality in fact its as good as it ever was!

im afraid that the brackets that held the changer under my passenger seat are not included in the sale as thay are spot welded to the floorpan although strong self adhesive velcro works fine for my new changer so should suffice for this one too. if you would also like the headunit none of the original fixings or brackets to hold this in place are included as my after market headunit fitted these. in response to people that have asked me if this changer is compatible with their current toyota headunit im afraid i dont know so please check the photos of the connections with the connection on the back of your headunit. the price is still £40 with the head unit if you want/need it postage is extra and will be insured i cant see it being more than £10

the first person to PM me will be buying the changer, im afraid that im away working at the cheltenham gold cup until wednesday at the earliest as of about six tonite but will endevour to confirm your purchase before then (sorry about this but we all gotta work) and be able to give you a final price on postage by thursday after that we can sort payment methods. i will also try to answer questions but please understand that i will not have internet access whilst im away.

CANT BELEIVE THIS!! after I posted the first time 4/3/05 i got six PMs from people who were interested IF i could sort the lead out so what do I do I buy 48m of wire and spend ages making a decent bus lead up taking my new stereo out reconnecting the old one to be sure it would work (i knew it would but but a few of the pms i got thought it wouldnt). Then I post it up as sorted for the same price cos I wanted to be fair to everyone that had showed a keen interest and guess what not a sausage!
