T Sport Engine Transplant

I know that the most common route for engine transplants into ae111s is the 1.6 20v or the supercharged option but why not a T sport engine? does anyone know how the gearbox in my car for example differs from the gearbox in the Tsport? could they mate together or would a T sport gearbox have to go in as well? I mean if one can be fitted into a yaris 1.8 yaris

surely one could be made to fit into a earlier corolla?? are there any people out there that might know about these issues (comon i know there are some people on this site/forum that know WAY more than i do about part/fitment variations on toyotas over the years) im not going to try it (well if i do it wont be for at least a year) but i was just wondering cos would love to see a 189bhp normally aspirated G6R :o (like toyota should of made it) any ideas?

I would love to go down this route too. Im sure someone thought that the original gearbox would be too weak for the extra power but you would be as well getting the whole lot from a donor T-Sport anyway!

That Yaris must be a little nippy!
